Admission Requirements
Undergraduate
UTME Candidates:
- O’ Level Results: Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings. These must include English Language, Mathematics, and three (3) other subjects relevant to the chosen course of study.
- UTME (JAMB) Score: Applicants must have sat for the current year’s UTME and achieved the minimum cut-off mark set by the university. For the 2024/2025 session, AUST’s minimum JAMB cut-off score was stated as 140.
- Post-UTME/Screening: Admission is generally subject to meeting the O’Level and JAMB requirements and potentially participating in the university’s internal screening process.
- Application Process: Applications are typically made online through the JAMB E-facility Portal. “Walk-in” applicants who didn’t initially choose AUST as their first choice may need to process a change of institution through JAMB.
For Direct Entry (200 Level Admission): Candidates with relevant A-level passes, OND, HND, NCE, or acceptable Bachelor’s degrees in related fields may be considered for Direct Entry admission. Specific requirements vary by program.
Postgraduate
