Gaining admission to the university as an Art or Social Science student can be challenging due to the many students applying to these courses.
Law, Mass Communication, Political Science, Banking and Finance, etc., comprise the list of competitive courses in the JAMB UTME. It is not surprising because it is believed these courses have a far better prospect for employment after graduation.
But, if you are reading this post, I know your JAMB is not that great; you probably have a score of less than 200 in your JAMB. The good news is that you can still gain admission if you apply to a course with a low cut-off mark.
In this post, I will provide a comprehensive list of the Art and Social Science courses you can apply to study at the university with a low JAMB score.
Let me know in the comment box at the end of this post if you have any confusion, doubt, questions or need further clarification. I am here to help you out.

Conclusion
I advise you to apply to a State University if you have a low JAMB score to meet the cut-off mark for admission.
The reason is that State Universities are not as competitive as their Federal counterparts. It does not mean state schools are inferior; no students prefer the federal system because of finance and prestige.
Feel free to apply to any of these courses. Please let me know in the comment if you have any questions or need further clarification. I would love to hear from you.
